I'm Jeanni.  I call myself a writer, though maybe storyteller would be a better title.  I've been writing as long as I can remember, scribbling stories on napkins in restaurants, telling stories to my sister on long car rides, making them up to entertain myself.  Though Brooklyn is where I grew up I've moved to Washington, DC for university and my adventures have now taken me to living in rural Missouri with my parents and grandmother.  It's an adventure, even though sometimes I don't view it that way.
I'm a rising senior at university, majoring in history.  When it comes to grad school I want to study history - specifically early medieval Britain.  Writing is my greatest passion, but I can't imagine putting my entire future behind it.  I'm also far too interested in dead people and their skeletons to only focus on writing.  In fact, sometimes skeletons and dead people make their way into my novels.

This blog isn't just about writing though, it's about life, specifically my life.  My life is about balance; about being a student and a writer, a treasurer and a fraternity brother, a friend and a historian.

In 2011 I wrote my first novel, which I've since trunked, but will hopefully continue editing soon.  It's temporarily called The Book Without A Name About Faeries And Boyfriends, shortened to TBWANAFAB or TBWAN or Serendipity after my main character.  The first five and a half chapters were written during the summer, mostly at my grandmother's dining room table.

In 2012 I participated in Camp Nano in June with a novel called Sister Psychic. I haven't finished it yet, but I'm working on it.  Mostly it's not finished because I'm trying to get through undergrad. Want to find me on the Nano or Camp Nano boards?  I'm JeanniGrace!
